hello, my name is LILLY. i am TWENTY years young and i consider myself an INTERMEDIATE roleplayer. i found this site through LAUREN. so, here's an example of my average post:
She knew that his leaving was always a touchy subject, especially with his parents around. People were confusing, but his parents possibly topped the list. They never had lavish amounts of money, but they were well off. And his parents always flaunted it, buying the nicest of clothes, the nicest furniture and the newest cars. Naomi was glad that Becca had Jared. At such a small age it would be so easy to corrupt her mind into the ways of her parents, but she knew that Jared would never let that happen. Letting her eyes fall back down to the baby she felt herself leaning against Jared. Right at this moment, she wanted to freeze everything. She was happy, and usually when someone gets to happy, something comes along and ruins it. Letting out a soft sigh she closed her eyes for a minute trying to picture what things were like before he left. Not a pretty mental image she opened her eyes feeling the counter now supporting her weight.
Looking up, Jared was now making his was towards the steps, with Becca in his arms. Not thinking a moment, she did what naturally instincted her to do, she followed him. Being quiet, so she would not wake his parents she followed his steps up the staircase and towards his room. His parents were not people that she wanted to mess with, especially not at midnight, when she should be at the apartment with her sister, sleeping. When she walked through the doorway into the room she felt her heart warm. Everything was the same, well from his grafiti phase. His parents probably didnt even bother to change the room, mostl ikely thinking he was going to fail and just end up back home relapsing. This infuriated her. He and Becca were so smart, and their parents didnt even recognize that.
Making her way towards the bed she sat on the edge of it watching him, with her own heavy eyes. Watching him care for Becca, gently and fatherly made her heart melt a bit more and more inside. He was perfect, too perfect for her messed up life. She looked down in her lap feeling guilty. She was probably the only thing in the world that he wanted, and she couldnt even give him that. Fidgeting with her hands she nearly jumped when she spoke, breaking the silence. Looking behind her, turning her body a bit she looked at him "Well, it was quiet" she shrugged. Things had been weird without him, she had nothing to do, no where to go, and no one to talk to. .

OVERALL , frst born into the saldano family, marley was spoiled from the start. her mother babied her and beautified her with all types of dresses and makeup. living in a small town in nebraska there wasnt much to do for marley while she was growing up. so, she spent most of her time with her mother down in the salon, or with her father down by the studio. she preferred to spend more time with her father, for some reason she wasnt into all the makeup and flashy clothes that the women around amherst wore.
marley was different from the other kids that she went to school with, the girls at least. she always wanted to spend time with the guys, she fit in better with them. when she was five, marley got into her first fight. pushing a girl off the swing she got angry and was sent home. her parents were told that she had 'anger issues' and needed to learn how to solve those problems. her father, knowing about that type of issue decided to enroll her in the little boxers academy at his gym, however, his wife renee thought differently. she did not want her beautiful daughter fighting, let alone boxing. taking her own initiative, she enrolled her daughter in beauty pageants all up and down the nebraska state line.
marley was miserable. she hated doing pageants, but did them to keep her mother happy for eight years. when she was thirteen she quit, she couldnt take it anymore, and besides her mother had penelope to spoil now. with the new siblings in the picture marley took her dads advice and signed up for boxing classes. she fell in love. boxing was her passion, it was a way for her to get her anger out, but channel it as well. she grew up normally, went to school and graduated college with high honors getting a degree in physical therapy. she became an aid at her fathers gym and helped younger kids box.
marley was on the right track to sucess. when she was twenty one, marley met david. david was visiting his grandmother who lived across the street from marley. she had seen him before, on vacation once or twice, but was too miserable to notice. the two bumped into each other at the grocery store and ended up doing lunch, several times. marley found herself falling head over heels for david. he was everything that she wanted, a gentleman, he cared about her, he was respectful, and had a job. david was in the army, national guard. the two decided to start dating, it was hard considering he lived in manhattan and she still lived in nebraska.
the two visited each other whenever they had the chance. and before long, david asked her to move in and for her hand in marriage. marley was twenty three when she got married, and the two decided to wait a year before having children. marley found a new job at a gym teaching people how to box, while still boxing on her own while david continued boot camp. marley had just turned twenty five, she wanted a child. david knew that he was going to get deployed, but never brought it up knowing it upset her. nine months after struggling, crying, and vomitting, valencia pedraci was born.
david's biggest fear was true, he was sent to war. marley, a new mother and an emotional wreck hired an aid to help her raise her daughter. the aid and marley soon became best friends and marley lived her normal life, coping with the fact that david was gone. however, her worst fear came true. it was a cold winter night when the knock at the door rang through the mall house. marley had just put valencia to bed and the aid was home for the weekend. answering the door she automatically fell to her knees, she knew that he was gone and there was no way to bring him back. david had been a victim of friendly fire and died on impact.
it has been five months since davids death and funeral. marley is still an emotional wreck, but she is learning to cope. she channels her emotions into her daughter and into boxing. she is not ready to move on, in hopes that one day david will come back and marley will wake up from the horrible nightmare.
